The association has been in existence for more than 70yrs –
Head Office is in Gauteng.
SADTA is also affiliated to the World Dance Council
SADTA is a Dance Teachers Association – its aim is to qualify teachers and help them improve their dance teaching skills. Branches in five Provinces  -
Gauteng – KwaZulu Natal – Western Cape – Eastern Cape and Free State

Medal Tests are also available to the Pupils of the SADTA teachers
these start at a Social level then Bronze, Silver, Gold etc.
